Finishing our Work and Feeding the Homeless

With another beautiful day here in paradise we wrapped up all the projects we set out to accomplish at WCC and then some. We have worked hard and played hard. We have worshiped with fellow believers from far away places, We have witnessed homeless people touched by a willing, enthusiastic helping hand. We have taken food to the homeless and made connections that hopefully will continue to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the people of this region of Oahu. We have dined with the local state representative fighting for what he knows is right in the Hawaii legislature. We have caught the vision for the various ministries here including the blossoming bible school to train pastors here in the WCC facility. We have gotten to know the Millers, Greentrees and Valenzuelas. the pastoral families ministering out of this facility. And best of all, we have witnessed people deciding to accept Jesus are their personal savior.

We came here to work and be a blessing in the name of Jesus and God has blessed us far more in return. While we leave with photo evidence below of lots of physical work projects accomplished these past two weeks, the more important work was something we will not be able to see until we get to Heaven. But we are confident that this eternal work has been and will continue to be done here at Wahiawa Community Church and the Mission Station based here. Please pray along with us that God will continue to richly bless the pastoral staff and there family's. May God continue to bless the English and Filipino congregations that call WCC home. May God continue to minister to this community and island through this place and in particular may God use this place to reach the people most in need in this community and bring them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
