Sunday was another full day of activities here in Hawaii. We started the day at the Aloha Stadium Swap meet to do some souvenir shopping. Then we came back to WCC for a 12:30 PM combined service of the English and Filipino congregations who share this facility. The Wahiawa church has been here since the '50s, and the Filipino congregation has been here in this facility since the '70s, so these two congregations have been connected here at WCC for a long time. The Filipino praise band led us in worship and the Filipino congregation's Pastor Valenzuela mc'd the service, then Pastor John Miller brought the message. After a spirit filled service we all headed across the street to Ruth's house for an absolutely amazing Filipino potluck dinner for the whole church. Ruth is a member of this church and she has a beautiful home with a large lenai (covered carport or patio) and they added another large canopy beyond that so everyone could be in the shade. It was wonderful getting to fellowship with the whole WCC church family. I only regret I could not eat more. I have no idea what to call most of the food dishes there but they were all incredible.

After this late lunch we loaded up and headed to the Dole plantation where some of us found room for some more Dole whip ice cream. Then we headed to Sunset Beach on the North Shore to swim and watch the beautiful sunset. Then it was back to WCC to clean up, get some rest and get ready to get back to work first thing in the morning.
