Monday at Wahiawa Community Church

Today was a long but very productive day. It started at 7:30 as we prepared for the arrival of our concrete truck. It was a perfect and rain free day, prefect for pouring concrete. But today was more than a concrete day. That was just what we did before breakfast. After breakfast I shared devotions with the group before we got back to work. Here's what I am sure is an incomplete list of the day's activities. We installed more big windows, cleared out more storage areas, cleaned up more landscaping, organized books for a big book sale, and last but certainly not least, we bought the trailer for the coffee kiosk/homeless food delivery service. We ended the day with a dinner visit from the Wahiawa area's State Representative, a native of the area and fellow believer in Christ.

It's late as I blog tonight and I'm frankly worn our from the day and need to get to bed so enjoy the day in pictures and Aloha for now!

  1. Those new windows look wonderful and seem to be such an improvement in terms of keeping the weather and elements out. I'm excited to see what becomes of that trailer!

And thanks for the pictures ... worth 1000s of words.
